From our beginning in Appleton, Wisconsin, we set out to create products that captured the warmth and quality of a true old-fashioned candy store while building a company capable of serving customers and retailers across the country.

Nineteen years later, that philosophy still guides everything we do.

We continue to make our caramel in small batches using traditional methods, carefully selected ingredients, and the kind of patience great confectionery requires. Every batch is made with the belief that quality matters, details matter, and customers can taste the difference.

Every L. Frances product starts with quality ingredients and a process built around craftsmanship rather than speed.

We slow-cook our caramel in copper kettles to develop the rich flavor, smooth texture, and deep golden color that simply cannot be rushed. We use Wisconsin Grade AA butter, fresh cream, C&H brown sugar, and carefully selected ingredients chosen for flavor first — not convenience.
